Spectra was first introduced in the Nordic countries but shortly after it could be found in the major parts of Europe.

Spectra was the original name for a French frame in composite material. The name was adapted by Cycleurope in 2001 and the goal was to create a unique parts and accessories brand: a concept for retailers that would facilitate the purchasing of parts and accessories for bicycles for the consumer.
It resulted in a complete range of parts and accessories under one brand name, Spectra.

TEC is the original name for development of high-end components in innovative materials.

The name was launched by Cycleurope in 2012 with the goal to create a unique part and accessory brand. The concept of the brand was built in order to give our costumers a range of products that would facilitate the purchase of parts and accessories for our customers to service the bikes of the consumer and to sell parts and accessories.

TEC is a wide range of spare parts and accessories for Road, MTB and BMX bikes as well as equipment for the riders. In the TEC range you will find quality components from the value for money to the high end components.

R.P. Egedesø was founded in 1935
On February 13, 1935, Rasmus Peter Egedesø founded his company, R.P. Egedesø in Odense. He had just finished a commercial education and began manufacturing spare parts and components for bicycles. In the early 1940′s, Rasmus Peter Egedesø began making bicycles from frames produced by the local frame manufacturer, Børge Kildemoes. Egedesø painted and decorated the frames he purchased from Børge Kildemoes and later started his own frame production.

From lathe to bicycle manufacturer
Kildemoes is the story about a super-brand, which was founded with a lathe by a farmer’s son.
Around World War II, Børge Kildemoes started manufacturing bicycles in the basement of his house. This amounted to 5-6 bicycles a day. The business grew quickly and with the help of a kind bank manager, the young entrepreneur succeeded in starting a proper bicycle factory.
The bicycles were sold under the name BKC – Børge Kildemoes Cykler, and the factory grew to become one of Denmark’s largest bicycle factories.
Sensuous super-brand

With Niels Erik Kildemoes, the son, in the saddle, the name changed to Kildemoes and the company started its own sales organisation. The aim was to establish Kildemoes as a brand through marketing efforts on TV. This communication has, through more than 15 years, focused on Kildemoes as the bicycles that appeal to your senses.

Refined design and technology are communicated through experiences so the customers do not only think Kildemoes is the best bicycle, they feel it.
This strategy has helped Kildemoes become a sovereign number one in the Danish market and a Danish super brand.
